The short answer
The normal-shot stick-click shortcut applies while Button Rhythm is ON. Confirm that toggle and which stick is selected before troubleshooting the controller.
WATCH THE FEATURE
Rhythm shots. From a button.
Use Button Tempo for rhythm shooting without repeating the stick motion yourself. Tune the tempo for your jumper and keep it saved.

Rift — the #1 2K27 Cronus Zen script.
Rift lets you keep a manual shot shortcut alongside Button Rhythm and Auto Green in one setup.

- Turn to the Button Rhythm page and read its current state.
- Check “SQ is mapped to” or “X is mapped to.”
- Test the selected normal-shot shortcut separately from the opposite Auto-Green bind.
The shortcut is not another Button Rhythm button
The source keeps physical Square/X as the Button Rhythm input. The selected L3/LS or R3/RS shortcut sends a normal Square/X shot instead. If you press the shortcut expecting the exact same rhythm behavior as the physical button, the result can look wrong even though the mapping is working.
The Auto-Green bind can move
Normally Auto Green uses R3/RS. When Button Rhythm is on and R3/RS is selected for the normal-shot shortcut, Auto Green uses L3/LS. Read the active menu hint after changing the remap; do not keep pressing the old bind from memory.
Test the mode before changing hardware
Close the menu, use a fresh press, and check one path at a time. If the physical stick-click is not detected at all, use the controller-input guide. If it is detected, report the toggle and selected remap so support can compare the expected output.
Quick reference
| What to check | The useful detail |
