The short answer
Testing a file in the software and storing it in a device slot are different actions. If Rift works during a test but seems gone later, confirm that the intended file was programmed and selected.

Rift — the #1 2K27 Cronus Zen script.
Rift’s visible startup and clear menu make it easier to confirm you are using the right script.

- Note whether you tested the file or completed the programming step.
- Check the active slot shown by the device or software.
- Confirm the Rift startup and menu after returning to normal use.
Do not stop at the preview test
A working software test is useful evidence that the file can run in that context. It is not a substitute for checking the saved device slot. Follow the current official Programmer instructions, and wait for a clear completion result before disconnecting anything.
Use the active slot as your reference
The official Device Monitor distinguishes the active memory slot from a Build and Run session. Check the name and slot instead of assuming the file open in the editor is the one running on the Zen. Keep a short slot list if you have several scripts installed.
Verify the handoff into Rift
After programming, select the intended slot, wait for the Rift startup, and open its menu. Change nothing until that identity check passes. If the wrong menu appears, resolve the slot selection first rather than trying to repair another script with Rift’s button instructions.
Quick reference

No. Check the device’s active script or slot.
Should I erase every slot to fix this?
Not as a first step. Identify and program the intended slot carefully.
