The short answer
First check that you saved from the menu and returned to the same build. Rift V1.1 saves separate settings for Build 1, Build 2, and Build 3, so switching builds can look like a lost setting when it is not.

Open the menu, note the build, and write down the exact field and value. Use a small, reversible change for the test. Do not overwrite your best working build just to test whether saving works; keep its values recorded first.
Close the menu with save
From the main menu, press Circle/B or close with the menu shortcut. V1.1 calls its save routine when closing and displays a saved notice. Wait for that notice rather than immediately unplugging the device after pressing a value button.

Return to the same build and field
Reopen the menu and check the same build. If you changed Rhythm Auto-Green timing, select Rhythm before checking Auto Green MS again. Button and Rhythm timing are separate. If the value still does not persist, include your exact file version and save sequence when contacting support.
Quick reference
| What to check | The useful detail |
|---|---|
| Build changed | You may be viewing another saved setup |
| Mode changed | Auto Green MS can show a different mode’s value |
| Menu never closed | Use the documented close-and-save action |
| Still resets | Record a repeatable example for support |

Common questions
Does every build share one timing value?
No. The supplied file saves settings per build and keeps separate Button and Rhythm Auto-Green timing.
Should I power off to save?
Use the menu’s save action first. Powering off is not a substitute for the documented save step.
